Mobile Messengers A mobile messenger with custom server infrastructure. In order to ensure maximum security for the VoIP/messaging solution, our architecture was designed around two private servers. Both servers are custom built with Erlang and feature a number of security features including a 2048-bit encryption and a remote data wipe function. After installing and integrating the servers, the full control over them is handed over to the client.

The voice calls use an XMPP protocol with TLS 1.2 for establishing a secure connection between two clients and an SRTP channel for transferring voice data packets. The file and text message exchange is also conducted through the XMPP protocol with TLS 1.2 and is additionally protected by a 2048-bit encryption. The application does not store any data on user devices, so even when a device is stolen no information will be compromised. In case of an emergency, users or admins can remotely shut down the server from the client application, blocking access to any sensitive data.
